Terms & Conditions

In order to receive a high quality service we only ask that you be a top quality customer  and please respect our policies and terms of business.

Ceramic Coating Manchester is a fully mobile service. We come to you at your home or workplace across Greater Manchester.

Deposits

All bookings are deposit based and are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid. Deposits are paid via bank transfer or the payment provider Ceramic Coating Manchester uses at the time of booking.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The deposit amount will be a flat fee of £100 payable at booking.

Within 48 hours of booking, Ceramic Coating Manchester will gladly transfer your booking to another nominated person, providing the location is within our service area and all other terms and conditions are met.

 

Payment Methods

We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or card payment. All remaining balances are due on the day of completion of the service, after deduction of any deposit already paid. An invoice can be provided upon request.

Vehicle Condition & Preparation

The customer should ensure their vehicle is accessible and that there is adequate space to work safely around it at the agreed location. A covered or sheltered area is preferred for ceramic coating application, please advise us in advance if no covered space is available as we do have an gazebo we can use in certain circumstances. 

The customer should remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before the appointment. Ceramic Coating Manchester will not accept liability for loss or damage to any items left in the vehicle.

The customer is responsible for removing and refitting child seats prior to the appointment.

Please notify us of any existing damage to your vehicle, internally or externally that we should be aware of before starting work. This includes loose trim, paint peel, badges, cracked plastics, or any previous paintwork repairs. Ceramic Coating Manchester will not accept liability for any deterioration of pre existing damage during the service.

Paint Condition & Correction

A single stage machine polish is included as standard with all ceramic coating packages. This is carried out to remove light swirl marks and surface defects prior to coating application.

Where paint condition is found to be significantly worse than indicated at time of booking, including heavy swirl marks, deep scratches, oxidation, or previous poor repairs, additional paint correction work may be required. If this is the case, Ceramic Coating Manchester will notify the customer before proceeding and agree any additional cost in advance.

Ceramic Coating Manchester cannot guarantee the removal of all paint defects, deep scratches, or stone chips through standard single stage polishing. Customers requiring more extensive paint correction should discuss this prior to booking.

Warranty

All ceramic coating packages include a downloadable warranty document issued to the customer for either a 5 year or 10 year period, as agreed at time of booking.

The warranty covers the performance of the ceramic coating under normal use and with correct maintenance as outlined in the maintenance guidelines provided at handover.

★ The warranty will be void if:

  • ×The vehicle is taken through an automated or roller car wash at any point during the warranty period
  • ×The vehicle is washed using abrasive products, brushes, or non coating safe chemicals
  • ×The coating is damaged by third party paintwork repair, body shop work, or unauthorised detailing treatments
  • ×The customer fails to follow the maintenance guidelines provided at handover
  • ×The vehicle is involved in a collision that damages the coated paintwork

Ceramic Coating Manchester reserves the right to assess any warranty claim in person before authorising remedial work. Warranty claims must be made in writing via email.

The warranty is transferable to a new owner on resale of the vehicle, providing Ceramic Coating Manchester is notified in writing.

Booking Times

Your booking time is an estimate. As a mobile service, occasionally factors outside our control  including traffic, access issues, or jobs running longer than anticipated may affect arrival time. We will notify you as soon as possible in these circumstances.

The duration of any service is an estimate and may take more or less time than initially advised, depending on vehicle size, paint condition, and environmental factors on the day.

Photographs & Media

We may take photographs or video footage of your vehicle before, during, and after the service for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. Number plates will always be obscured before any images are published.

If you would prefer your vehicle not to be photographed, please inform us before we begin work.

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm you have read these terms and conditions and agree to our terms of business.

Unsuitable Conditions & Unforeseen Circumstances

Ceramic coating requires dry, controlled conditions during application. In the event of heavy rain, strong winds, or other unsuitable weather conditions that would compromise the quality of the coating, Ceramic Coating Manchester reserves the right to reschedule the appointment.

In the event of unexpected traffic delays, vehicle breakdown, illness, or other unforeseen emergencies, Ceramic Coating Manchester may need to rearrange your booking. We will contact you as soon as possible to agree a new date.

Cancellations

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled at no additional charge. The deposit will be held against the rescheduled appointment.

Ceramic Coating Manchester reserves the right to cancel a booking if the vehicle or location is found to be unsuitable on arrival. In these circumstances a partial refund of the deposit may be offered at our discretion.

Payments already made are non-refundable. Services can continue to be used until the plan end date.

Price Adjustments

Ceramic Coating Manchester reserves the right to adjust plan pricing annually based on business costs. Any pricing changes will be communicated in writing a minimum of 30 days in advance.

Liability

Ceramic Coating Manchester holds full public liability insurance. A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We will not be liable for any consequential loss arising from the service.

Failure to Pay

A failure to pay for services carried out will result in legal action being taken. A missed payment is a missed wage, Ceramic Coating Manchester will not sustain a loss of time or earnings under any circumstances.

These terms and conditions are subject to change. The version published on this website at the time of booking applies. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.
