Do you cover my town if it's not one of the four listed?
Almost certainly yes. The four dedicated area pages exist because those postcodes get the most enquiries, but I work across the whole of Greater Manchester, Trafford, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Tameside and beyond. The quickest way to confirm is to send a message with your town or the first half of your postcode and I’ll come back within 24 hours.
Is there a travel charge for outlying postcodes?
For the four dedicated area pages and central Manchester there’s no travel charge, the quoted price is what you pay. For postcodes further out (e.g. Ramsbottom, the edges of Rochdale) there’s sometimes a small fuel surcharge of £15–£30 depending on distance. It’s always confirmed up front in your quote so there are no surprises on the day.
How far outside Manchester will you travel?
I’ll travel anywhere within Greater Manchester as standard. For jobs in Cheshire (Wilmslow, Knutsford, Macclesfield), Warrington, the Bolton/Lancashire border, or parts of Merseyside, drop me a message and I’ll let you know if the travel works for the job size. Larger jobs (10 year coatings, interior packages on bigger SUVs) usually justify the extra travel; smaller maintenance jobs sometimes don’t.
Can I book if I'm in Cheshire or the Lancashire border?
Often yes. Stockport already covers SK postcodes that drift into Cheshire, and Bolton stretches towards Horwich and Edgworth on the Lancashire side. For anywhere a bit further out, the answer depends on the job, drop me a quick message with your postcode and what you’re after and I’ll confirm.
