THE STORY
From Hobby to Mobile Specialist
I started detailing cars as a teenager washing my own first car obsessively, learning how to do things properly, working out what actually mattered and what was marketing nonsense. By the time I was old enough to drive properly I’d already developed habits most people pick up after years of getting it wrong.
Then I joined the army. i spent six years doing a job I loved unfortunately it was a shorter career than i had anticipated. I got to travel the world and had some amazing experiences that you wouldn’t get any where else. After doing two tours one of Iraq and one of Afghanistan, the time came to leave and i needed a new career. That’s how i came into running this business and making detailing my full time job.
After leaving the army I tried a few jobs and even started another business which unfortunately didn’t work out , I then went full time into detailing. The hobby had never stopped, the difference now is that this is my job, every car gets the same methodical preparation, the same checklist, the same standard, whether it’s an £100k Range Rover in Bramhall or a working van in Farnworth. Eight years on, that hasn’t changed. The tools have got better, the coatings have got better. But the approach is the same: do it right, or don’t do it at all.
What you take from the Forces, even after you leave, is the discipline, the methodical approach, the checklist mindset, the standard you hold yourself to when nobody’s checking. That’s what I brought into civilian work when I came out and it’s what I bring to every car I coat now.

Methodical, Every Job
I don’t cut corners. There’s a process for every coating, the process is identical for every vehicle, and the process is what separates a coating that lasts the warranty period from one that fails inside two years. The Forces taught me what “methodical” actually means and I’ve never lost it.
Honest About What the Work Delivers
You’ll never get an oversold pitch from me. Ceramic coating doesn’t stop stone chips, doesn’t fix scratches, and won’t rescue paint that’s been hammered for ten years. What it actually does is chemical protection, far easier washing, deeper gloss, real warranty cover and is genuinely worth the money for most owners. I’ll tell you straight at quote stage whether your car needs the work and which package suits.
Professional Grade Coating, Full Warranty
Every coating I apply is professional grade with full written warranty paperwork, 5 or 10 years depending on the package, transferable on resale. Eight years using various products has taught me which ones perform consistently, cure predictably, and stand up to British weather. The product matters, but what matters more is the prep, the application, and the warranty documentation that backs the work. That’s what you can actually hold in your hand at the end of a job and what a future buyer can verify when you sell.
Mobile, by Choice
I could open a unit. I haven’t, on purpose. Mobile means you don’t lose your car for a day, you can see the work happening, and there’s no intermediary between you and me. Less overhead also means lower prices for the same standard of work. And honestly I’d rather work on a car in a Bramhall driveway or in an Egerton garage than under fluorescent lights on an industrial estate.
THE APPROACH
Same Process, Every Vehicle
Every coating starts the same way: a full assessment of the paintwork before anything’s touched. From there it’s a multi bucket safe wash, iron fallout removal, tar remover, clay bar across every panel, proper decontamination, not a quick rinse and a polish.
Then the single stage machine polish to lift swirl marks and light defects. This stage is non negotiable, and it’s why I include it in every package as standard. Coating over damaged paint just locks the damage in for the next 5–10 years. Doing it right means polishing first, every time.
Once the paint’s corrected, the coating goes on under controlled lighting, panel by panel, levelled by hand. After flash off and cure time, you get the warranty paperwork, the maintenance guide, and a car that’s protected for the next five or ten years depending on which package you booked.
